121й день повномасштабної війни в Україні. Саміт Європейського Союзу прийняв історичне рішення щодо надання нашій державі статусу кандидата на членство. Для України це одна з найважливіших подій за всі 30 років незалежності нашої держави. Разом з тим, це найбільший крок на посилення самої Європи, який необхідно було зробити саме зараз, щоб зберегти свободу та єдність. Ми вдячні європейській спільноті за цей безперечно важливий сигнал підтримки України у нашій боротьбі з російським окупантом. Ми схиляємо голови перед українськими захисниками, які ціною власного життя на передовій захищають нашу державу від варварської навали і зробили цей день можливим. Кожен із нас - Воїн!

Україна офіційно отримала статус країни-кандидата на вступ до ЄС — відповідне рішення підтримали лідери усіх 27 країн-членів.

США оголосили про надання Україні нового траншу військової допомоги на суму $450 мільйонів — пакет включає нові РСЗВ HIMARS, патрульні катери, десятки тисяч артилерійських боєприпасів, а також зброю та обладнання.

Збройні сили України зупинили наступ російських військ у напрямку південної околиці Лисичанська. Станом на ранок 24 червня, за даними голови Луганської обласної військової адміністрації Сергія Гайдая, українським військовим доводиться відходити із Сєвєродонецька на інші позиції, війська вже одержали відповідний наказ, щоб зберегти життя людей.

Російські загарбники атакували Миколаїв 3 крилатими ракетами наземного базування з окупованої Херсонщини — вони влучили по виробничій та соціальній інфраструктурі міста, поранена одна людина. Українські ППО збили ще дві крилаті ракети окупантів в небі над Одещиною.

Російські окупанти розібрали та викрали найбільшу сонячну станцію в Україні площею 96 га у Запорізькій області.

The 121st day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. The European Union Summit made a historic decision to grant our state candidate status for membership. For Ukraine, this is one of the most significant events in all 30 years of our nation's independence. At the same time, it is the most meaningful step towards strengthening Europe itself, which has to be taken right now to preserve freedom and unity. We are grateful to the European community for this undoubtedly important signal of support for Ukraine in our struggle against the russian occupier. We bow our heads to all Ukrainian warriors who, at the cost of their lives on the front line, defend our country from a vicious invasion and make this day possible. Each one of us is a Warrior!

Ukraine has officially received the status of a candidate country for EU membership - the relevant decision was supported by the leaders of all 27 member states.

The United States announced a $450 million tranche of military aid to Ukraine - the package includes new HIMARS, patrol boats, tens of thousands of artillery ammunition, and weapons and equipment.

The Ukrainian armed forces halted a russian offensive towards the southern outskirts of Lysychansk. On the morning of 24 June, according to Serhiy Gayday, head of the Luhansk administration, the Ukrainian military had to retreat from Severodonetsk to other positions. The troops have already been ordered to do so to keep people alive.

russian invaders attacked Mykolaiv with three ground-launched cruise missiles from the occupied Kherson region - they hit the city's industrial and social infrastructure, injuring one person. Ukrainian air defence forces shot down two more russian cruise missiles in the skies over the Odesa region.

russian occupants dismantled and stole Ukraine's largest solar power plant covering 96 hectares in the Zaporizhzhia region.
